Our Mission

We hope that our commitment to children’s right to play, to be kind, to be resilient, to be collaborative and to be compassionate is evident in everything we do.

Children

Our children engage in hands-on learning that requires experimenting, divergent thinking and appreciation for others, this supports their emerging sense of identity and builds resilience and a love of learning.

Teachers

Our passionate educators provide a nurturing and supportive environment to foster capacity and confidence of all children.

Family

Our families are children’s first teachers and they actively engage with educators where we prioritise open communication, connection, interaction and support.

Community

Our vibrant local community contributes to the preschool’s ability to provide exceptional care and education through excursions, programs and donations.

Our management

Our community preschool caters for 40 children a day with 7 educators. It is run by a parent committee, who meet regularly to oversee the running of the preschool. Our partnership with families helps connect us to the local community and ensures the views and values of families and children are always considered when making decisions.

Our Educators

Director – Helen Millar
Our team of passionate educators are university and TAFE trained teachers. We regularly engage in professional development that challenges our pedagogy and creates a strong culture of enquiry as we strive to build children’s capacity to be lifelong learners.
